The YMCA of Greater Brandywine (YGBW) has announced the addition of Erin Clare Grayson as the organization's inaugural senior vice president of culture and enterprise risk. The creation of the senior vice president of culture and enterprise risk role reflects YGBW's continued investment in employee engagement, leadership development, organizational culture, and enterprise risk management as the organization advances its strategic priorities and community impact across the region.

A key member of YGBW's senior leadership team, Grayson oversees leadership development, succession planning, workforce initiatives, enterprise risk management, compliance, emergency preparedness, and organizational safety practices. She also serves as an adviser to leadership on culture, talent, and governance matters.

In her new role, Grayson leads strategies that support the inclusion, engagement, and growth of more than 1,600 YGBW employees. Based on employee feedback, YGBW has been recognized as a Top Workplace for the past three consecutive years.

Grayson has extensive experience creating inclusive workplace cultures and advancing mission-driven impact through leadership development and staff engagement. Most recently, she served as senior manager of executive leadership at YMCA of the USA, where she led the national leadership development strategy and learning experiences for executive leaders across the country, supporting those from executive directors through chief executive officers. Previously, she held chief-level leadership positions within local YMCA associations, including chief talent officer for the YMCA of Central New York.

Grayson served as the founding chair of the Disability Community Resource Network, one of YMCA of the USA's national Employee Resource Groups. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in youth development with minors in YMCA professional studies, music, and sociology, as well as a Master of Education in recreation management from Springfield College. She is certified as an organizational leader by YMCA of the USA and holds professional certifications from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the Center for Creative Leadership, The Bigger Game Company, It's All Made Up Inc., and The Heart Work Leadership Group.
