Members of American Legion Riders (ALR) Post 455, Stewartstown, participated in the Steven Meiler Memorial Ride sponsored by the Glen Rock ALR Austin L. Grove Post 403 on July 25. More than 200 motorcycle riders came together for the event.

The ride was led by a group of volunteers from the York County Motor Officers Association. Starting from Post 403, the group traveled 52 miles through several towns, including Seven Valleys, Stewartstown, Shrewsbury, and Railroad. Participants ended back at Post 403, where they enjoyed music and food provided by Post 403 volunteers.

The ride paid tribute to Glen Rock residents Army Sgt. Steven Meiler and Army Sgt. Joseph Zygarowski. Meiler was a charter member of Post 403, and Zygarowski lost his life while training. Money raised will also benefit the York County Motor Officers Association's maintenance fund.
