Gap Relief Sale Posted

The Gap Relief Sale will be held on Friday and Saturday, Aug. 7 and 8, at the Solanco Fairgrounds, 172 S. Lime St., Quarryville. All proceeds will benefit Mennonite Central Committee (MCC).

On Aug. 7, the festivities will include a pork roast dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. and an auction from 6 to 7:15 p.m. Singing and a presentation by MCC will start at 7:15 p.m., and a freewill offering will be received.

On Aug. 8, a country breakfast will be served at 6 a.m. Auctions will include household items at 8:30 a.m., farm items and shop tools at 9 a.m., and outdoor items and shrubbery at 10:30 a.m. Larger outdoor items to be sold at 1 p.m. include a bale grabber, a vinyl swing set, a spring wagon, sheds, and a greenhouse. In addition, children's activities will be available from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., including an auction, a barrel train, and a bounce house.
