Summer Story Time, for children ages 3 to 5, will take place on Mondays, Aug. 10, 17, and 24, at 10 a.m. Toddler Time, for children ages 2 to 4, will be held on Tuesdays, Aug. 11, 18, and 25, at 10:30 a.m. Baby Book Club, for children age 2 and under, will take place on Wednesdays, Aug. 12, 19, and 26, at 10:30 a.m.

Other programs for children will include Camp DINO-mite, for children ages 5 to 9, on Monday, Aug. 3, and Tuesday, Aug. 4, at 3:30 p.m.; Parachute Play, for children ages 3 to 8, on Wednesday, Aug. 5, at 11:15 a.m.; Splash Day, for children ages 2 to 5, on Thursdays, Aug. 6 and 13, at 1 p.m.; Mini-Archeologists: Lost Cities, for children ages 6 to 9, on Aug. 6 at 2:30 p.m.; Bedtime Stories, for children from birth to age 5, on Thursdays, Aug. 6 and 27, at 6 p.m.; Stegosaurus to Steam, for children ages 5 to 9, on Aug. 12 at 1 p.m.; Blockheadz Club, for children ages 4 to 12, on Aug. 18 at 5:45 p.m.; Wild About Books: Elephants Are Excellent, for children ages 5 to 9, on Aug. 25 at 4:30 p.m.; and POP PJ Party, for children ages 5 to 9, on Aug. 27 at 6 p.m.

Kids Read Tales to Tailwaggers will take place on Aug. 26 at 4 and 4:30 p.m. Children may read aloud to KPETS-registered dogs during a five-minute time slot. The program is designed for children ages 4 to 12, but anyone is welcome to register.

A variety of programs will be held for tweens ages 10 to 12. They are Drawing Camp for Tweens on Aug. 3, 4, and 5 at 1 p.m.; Games of Luck! For Tweens on Aug. 10 at 4:30 p.m.; Tween Hangout on Aug. 11 at 1 p.m.; and Tween Gamers Club on Aug. 13 at 4 p.m.

Summer Book Club, for youths ages 10 to 14, will be held on Aug. 6 at 1 p.m., with attendees discussing "Escape from Mr. Lemoncello's Library" by Chris Grabenstein. Pokemon TCG Meetup, for youths ages 10 to 14, will take place on Aug. 6 and 27 at 4:30 p.m. Letter Writing for Homeschoolers, for students ages 10 to 18, will be held on Aug. 10 at 1 p.m. Holy Guacamole! vs. Teen Cuisine: Baking Showdown, for youths ages 10 to 18, will take place on Aug. 19 at 2 p.m.

Activities for teenagers ages 13 to 18 will include Teen Gamers Club on Aug. 4, 11, 18, and 25 at 3:30 p.m.; Dread TTRPG Camp for Teens on Aug. 26 and 27 at 2 p.m.; and Late Night at the Library on Aug. 27 at 7 p.m.

The library will offer programs for people age 18 and older to learn and play American mahjong. Mahjong Club, for people of all skill levels, will meet on Aug. 4, 11, and 18 at 12:30 p.m. Mahjong Masters, for people with at least a year of experience playing mahjong without help, will take place on Aug. 10 at 10:30 a.m. On Aug. 13 at 10 a.m., people may meet to play mahjong at W Donuts in Akron.

A program on social media and AI will take place on Aug. 3 at 1 p.m. and Aug. 6 at 5:30 p.m. The class is for people age 18 and older.

Video Game Night for Adults will be held on Aug. 3 at 6 p.m.

Raven Ridge Rehabilitation Center will present a program for people of all ages on Aug. 5 at 1 p.m.

Keep Calm and Carry Yarn, for people age 18 and older, will meet on Aug. 5 at 6 p.m.

Dungeons & Dragons Club for Adults will meet on Saturday, Aug. 8, at 1 p.m.

Adult Night Out will be held on Aug. 11 at 6 p.m.

Fan-tastic Gaming Trivia will take place on Aug. 12 at 6 p.m. for people age 16 and older. Children and teens are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.

Kindle Users 2.0 will meet on Aug. 13 at 6 p.m. The group is designed for Kindle Fire users age 18 and older to meet other Kindle users and receive tech support.

Library Mini Golf, for people of all ages, will take place on Saturday, Aug. 15, at 11 a.m.

Whip It Up Cookbook Club, for people age 18 and older, will meet on Aug. 17 at 6 p.m.

Read and Escape: Virtual Book Discussion, for people age 18 and older, will be held on Aug. 17 at 6:30 p.m. Attendees will discuss "It Isn't Her" by Mary Kubica.

A Pinochle Party for seniors will take place on Aug. 19 at 12:30 p.m.

Creating Year-Round Interest With Native Plants will be presented by Penn State Extension Master Gardener Adam Barkafski on Aug. 19 at 6 p.m. The program is for people age 18 and older.

Family Movie and Craft Night, for people of all ages, will be held on Thursday, Aug. 20, at 5:45 p.m.

Daytime Crafts for Adults: Junk Journaling will take place on Aug. 24 at 1 p.m. Required supplies will be provided.
