The DoPasO and Swing Thru square dance clubs of Lancaster will host an Introduction to Square Dancing program on Thursday, Aug. 13, from 7:15 to 8:45 p.m. at Lititz recCenter, 301 W. Maple St., Lititz.

Attendees will learn about Western-style square dancing. Participants should wear soft-soled shoes. They may bring a partner or attend by themselves.

There is a fee, and rec center membership is not required.

In addition, weekly square dancing lessons will be available starting on Thursday, Sept. 17, at Highland Presbyterian Church, 500 E. Roseville Road, Lancaster.
