Friendship Church, 120 W. Main St., New Holland, will begin a new Senior Socials program, which will kick off with an ice cream social on Tuesday, July 21. Starting in August, socials will be held on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month from 1 to 3 p.m. The August dates will be Aug. 11 and 25.

Seniors age 60 and up may attend for social time, games, puzzles, and more. At the first gathering, attendees may fill out a questionnaire to share what activities they would be interested in.

Seniors who need assistance must be accompanied by a responsible adult the entire time. The facility is handicapped-accessible. The program is an outreach of the church; it is not a senior center.
