Community Clearinghouse Agency Inc. is starting a new program to serve senior citizens in the Lancaster area. Those age 70 or older can receive money through the program to help with pressing needs, up to a maximum of $1,000. Funds may be used for needs such as groceries, utilities, doctor visits, medication, other small bills, or various other needs. There is a one-time fee to cover the account setup.

The organization is seeking donations of a laptop and tablet with the Windows 11 operating system, as well as men's suits, sizes 42 to 44. A van is also needed to deliver goods to clients. To help with these donations, call 717-669-9323.

Monetary donations are also needed to help raise funds for the program. Individuals and small businesses may send donations to the organization at 556 Church St., Suite 101, Mount Joy.
