Hempfield Foundation Plans Golf Tournament

The Hempfield Foundation will host its annual golf tournament on Friday, June 5, at Four Seasons Golf Club, 949 Church St., Landisville. The event will bring together local businesses, community leaders, and other supporters to further the work of the foundation, an independent nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting students, educators, and programs within the Hempfield School District.

The tournament serves as one of the foundation's primary fundraising events, supporting teacher innovation grants, student scholarships, and career exploration initiatives that impact more than 7,000 students throughout the district. Each year, funds raised through the event help bring creative classroom ideas to life, expand access to learning experiences, and connect students with opportunities intended to prepare them for success beyond graduation.

"The golf tournament is more than just a great day on the course," said Kevin Fillgrove, executive director of the Hempfield Foundation. "It's a powerful example of what happens when a community comes together around a shared belief that students deserve opportunities to explore, create, and grow."

Various levels of sponsorships are available.

"We continue to be inspired by the generosity of our local business community," Fillgrove added. "Their support makes it possible for us to say yes to innovative ideas and meaningful opportunities for students across every school in the district."
