Chorus Plans Spring Concert

The Ephrata Cloister Chorus will present its annual spring concert at 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 17. The event will take place in the 1741 Meetinghouse at the Historic Ephrata Cloister, 632 W. Main St., Ephrata.

Highlighting the rich musical legacy of the Ephrata Cloister, the performance will feature original 18th-century compositions by members of the historic community. The program will also include selections from other early American musical traditions, as well as European classical works and music from global choral traditions. The concert will run approximately one hour.

Admission is free. Regular site admission to tour the historic grounds will be charged until 2:30 p.m., and after that time, guests may enter the site to attend the concert at no cost. Seating is limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. The event will take place rain or shine.
